Founded by Rafael Barlowe, this extension of NBA Big Board a newsletter dedicated to delivering in-depth scouting reports, mock drafts, videos, and insider perspectives to its 7,000 subscribers.

Former ESPN.com NBA Draft writer Chad Ford originally established the NBA Big Board Newsletter as the premier destination for NBA Draft enthusiasts.

In February 2022, Rafael Barlowe, previously with NBA Draft Junkies, joined as the Director of Scouting. Following Chad's retirement on April 8, Rafael took full ownership of the newsletter.

In January 2024, Rafael and his brother James Barlowe launched NBA Big Board Global, aiming to provide an American lens on international prospects. Together, they will traverse the globe, sharing unique insights with college coaches through newsletters and podcasts.
